It's a reporting requirement, done by computers these days. Computers also flag notes linked to transaction. My -totally legit- job learned that one of our code was the name of an ISIS stronghold after they stopped these transactions a few years back. If you think they can't track much more minute things than that, I've got news for you 😆

Cleanest way to do it, is to have your entry record corrected via a deferred inspection office.

Minimum AGE BEFORE beginning K-1 process?
Lemonslice replied to speeddemonsaint's topic in Philippines
For the DOJ, internationally, it is 18 years old. https://www.justice.gov/criminal-ceos/extraterritorial-sexual-exploitation-children Also, since "It is also illegal to help organize or assist another person to travel for these purposes. ", I suggest this thread be closed.- 7 replies

Mistakes are frequent. Deferred inspection is what is needed at this point. Google to find the closest location.

New here and sad
Lemonslice replied to hlascari's topic in Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, & Tourist Visas
Please follow the instructions in the notice and submit any requested materials. If you do not receive your notice by March 24, 2023, contact the USCIS Contact Center That is the important part. When you receive the notice, please come by and copy their request, or scan it with the personal details obfuscated. -
Please read the answers that were provided already. Why would you lose your job? How? @mindthegaphas provided a lot of details on when/how to travel, and to request a stamp. Why would USCIS refuse to provide a stamp? Be careful that your anxiety isn't taking over. Your lawyer doesn't sound competent, nor useful. Who tells clients they're illegal? She's so, so, wrong, in her content, and format. Please consider finding someone who won't disrespect you, and advise you to take steps that will worsen your situation. She sounds awful.

When you're all done, please come back to let others know how you proceeded - always useful. Best of luck!

Expedite Requests
Lemonslice replied to CALMONTE0830's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
If your case is no longer in their hands, they can't process it faster. Reach out to the consulate/embassy, and ask them to expedite it there... -

Do you have a job offer? What did you submit so far? -
it is not THAT bad to renew, and absolutely feasible, but it is: - more expensive - depending on where you live, a little, or a lot, more difficult to get the correct pictures [#1 reason why passport applications are rejected is because the pictures are not meeting the requirements; the back and forth by mail can also extend the processing time...] - some American banks reject the payment, thinking it is fraudulent [mostly the case when paying from a Debit card on a credit card network] it can be more challenging to request a new passport [after losing one, to change name, after the last one has been expired for too long]: - Americans are not always willing to be a guarantor/sign the pictures - Document to support your identity has to match with your birth certificate/certificate of citizenship; the copy needs to be signed by your guarantor - You need to send the original of your birth certificate/certificate of citizenship --- All in all, when possible, renew in Canada (before leaving, or during an extended stay - quick service in Canada was pretty much the same price as snail mail service from the USA, last time I checked). Otherwise, reach out to Passport Canada (and/or your local diplomatic mission [consulate/embassy]), for assistance before mailing your application, if ever you have questions.

Many countries have a centralized vaccination system, you might want to check if it is available in your country, and request your records. Otherwise, one option is to request titer tests from your doctor. You can then bring the results to your medical exam.

K1 changing name.
Lemonslice replied to bspnmi's topic in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas
"May include ANY surname", not limited to... If I didn't see it from my own eyes, I would doubt it, but I did. Twice. Geeky people going for geeky made up names (RtwoDtwo style). They do have to list which name they intend to use, but they can pick any surname they want, and both spouse do not have to go by the same name. Without knowing where OP is, probably irrelevant to their wife's situation though.
