  1. Make sure your mailbox is well labeled, say hi to your USPS delivery guy/gal. If you live in a building with multiple boxes, you can follow these tips, add your name to your box. Hope it will arrive soon! https://about.usps.com/notices/not11.pdf
  2. Maybe look into finding an lawyer who could advise on how to proceed? " The "Judiciary Police Record" may also be requested through a lawyer having a power of attorney from the individual authorizing the request."
  3. It seems like there is no exception. Might have to redo the medical after you receive it. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/Lebanon.html
  4. Some countries might have limited period covered, but I can't see how useful that would be - and the beneficiary could expect extra scrutiny during security checks. Where is it for?
  5. What is needed will vary depending on the country, see this site for the exact documents required for their country (and instructions on where to obtain them: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country.html
  6. Her going home, then I guess he has to see if he prefers to be a single dad to a newborn, or to rarely see his child. Sad to see that with all the red flags they decided to get pregnant 😕
  7. I agree. Previous posts from OP show that a few things might need to be explained by a lawyer/team of lawyers. VJ members have been telling him for years now that a small problem would grow to be this huge mess.
  8. Takes a special kind of person to play daddy during the most formative years of their childhood and then drop them. @Nomansland2020, how is your counselor telling you to proceed?
  9. Has there been any other violence incidents since your prior thread?
  10. Where is your wife now? There is usually no Adjustment of Status possible if you (the petitioner) are a permanent resident. How, and when, did you become a permanent resident? Consular processing/spousal visa will allow your wife become a permanent resident herself as soon as she enters with her visa; she can then work and travel.
  11. https://www.bbc.com/news/business-43786055 I have no particular interest in eating bugs, but I've tried some years ago at the Insect museum. Wasn't terrible, not great - didn't get any to bring home. "It is a puzzle to me why I am expected to embrace food I consider to be trash, while billions are not expected to embrace my food preferences: pork, beef, crustaceans, shell fish, booze. I am really getting tired of forced accommodation. " Who's forcing you to embrace it? Some people skip the meat, but the supermarkets around here still have a full wall of refrigerated meat. I just haven't seen a restriction in choice.
  12. I'm not saying it's a good, or a bad, career choice, simply that it is feasible. It depends a lot on too many factors / might be the best, or worst, idea - I've seen both in my life. I'll leave it at that.
  13. Serious question, what is the difference between eating a cricket and a shrimp? A veal steak and a dog steak? As long as the ingredients of what you are eating are disclosed, why is it a problem? (for reference, I am an omnivore - I eat some weird things [to Americans], but I am still picky)
  14. 168 hours in a week. Plenty of migrants, minimum wage workers, and previous generations, worked 80 hours a week. Not our place to judge OP, and not an immigration problem. @Rainbow Conquerer Best of luck, you've got this!
  15. Also, you can enroll into COBRA retroactively - knock on wood, you won't need it.
  16. Also, freeze this (everyone should really): https://employees.theworknumber.com/employee-data-freeze
  17. Also, the letter seems to be requesting proof of termination of prior marriage(s) for you (the beneficiary), but also from the petitioner. What did you/they submit?
  18. Weird, nothing was showing up last time! Great news, happy that everything went smoothly for you!
  19. EU citizens will have no worries at these borders. And (usually) zero queue to get in.
  20. Notwithstanding the immigration situation for your spouse, the help available to you as a permanent resident, and your child, will depend a lot on your location/state.
  21. Your husband is trying to manipulate the end of your relationship to his advantage. Most countries also have residency requirements to file for divorce. This man has shown you his colors by being violent, he's not going to be "gentle" and on your side now that you want to separate. Stay safe, protect yourself and your child. We're all rooting for you here.
  22. @Rosa Garcia It seems you originally received bad advice. Now, you're trying to fix the situation, but rushing into things without double checking that you are on the right path might be a lot of energy, on the wrong actions. A little like the saying "when you're in a hike, stop digging" Please take the time to take a step back, consult with immigration help center in your area, or more than a lawyer. If you can remove the private details from your denial letter, and you're comfortable, have some members here confirm that you are working in the right direction. Look for assistance in your state here: https://www.immigrationadvocates.org/legaldirectory/ Also useful no matter where you are - https://miracoalition.org/resources/know-your-rights/
