  1. I do not understand what you mean. There is no "proof" available for what you want in the US. If you are abroad, and it is required, you can look up the local embassy page and they'll explain how to produce proper evidence in that country. In France, for example, it is found under What is a « certificat de coutumes » and “certificat de célibat”? on this page https://fr.usembassy.gov/services/marriage-and-civil-partnerships-pacs-in-france/
  2. Ok. Who is asking you to prove that you are single and free to marry?
  3. Where are you planning to get married? Were you married before, and now a widower, or divorcé?
  4. I thought fiancée since that's what you wrote in your initial message. I got confused about her citizenship from reading your prior topics, but maybe it's a different person. Best of luck figuring things out.
  5. If your fiancée is Russian, are you sure she'd even want to go to Ukraine right now? Is she still living outside of Russia?
  6. I see zero ad, but my blocker says it is blocking 15 on this page only.
  7. Are you planning to get married there? If so, yes, follow their laws.
  8. What's a fiance contract? Being engaged isn't a legal status in the US.
  9. Zero problem, very common occurrence. As long as you have the new passport with you at the interview, they will update the passport number then.
  10. Funny how proud you are of submitting fraudulent supporting documents.

  13. Looks like you are in Alaska, so this might be useful: https://health.alaska.gov/dph/wcfh/Pages/informedconsent/pregnancy/paternity.aspx#:~:text=Alaska law does not allow,is determined by a court.
  14. If he wants to change the spelling of his legal first name [remove the second last name?], it might be easier/cleaner to do now, in his country. Then get a new passport in that name. About adding his name on the birth certificate, I know that is state dependent; you should see how that can be done while unmarried in your state. Best of luck to your family!
  15. How did she enter the second time - "then crossed again a few weeks later and stayed."
  16. RMV should word it differently, something like: "Evidence you presented make us believe that your authorized stay in the United States ends on 6/6/2024." RMV isn't the (best) place to get immigration status/information. You might want to try again in June, but you probably will have to find documents explicitly showing the details of your authorized stay/refer to their website to see what they'll accept. Also, hi neighbour. My first dealing with the RMV nearly had me packing my boxes and return home. Other visits were surprisingly smooth.
  17. The visa/initial green card will be issued in the name of the passport he'll use. If you/his mom want the American documents in that new name, use that. Make sure to disclose his prior name(s), and bring all the documents to explain the change. Will you be traveling with them when they immigrate?
  18. I don't think anyone here will google the entry requirements for each and every country you want to visit. Best of luck!
  19. Each country has their own requirements; you can usually visit the country's website/their diplomatic mission's website to learn about entry requirements. For example, this is the information for Canada: https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/travel-voyage/inadmissibility-interdiction-eng.html You will need to look up for each country you want to visitl
  20. You would have to search for similar recent Paris experiences. I know that for the consulate in Montréal, it's usually 6-8 extra weeks. Most locations are faster, a few slower...
  21. Seasonal influenza vaccine is usually only required during flu season. Other vaccines depend on age. It's possible to request a waiver, it usually add about a year to the process. If you search the forums for vaccine waivers, you'll get more details on how to proceed/what's required.
  22. Wait to see what kind of documents you get, you'll then have instructions on how to proceed. I find it doubtful that an adult name change would happen when their parent get married, but who knows? Please come back to let us know what the documents say.
  23. No one but the embassy will be able to give you a definitive answer. Did you reach out to them?
  24. Will, living will, healthcare proxy? These are important documents, not just for immigration, but in life. Anyway you can move to an area with better employment opportunities? Google your state+career center if you feel your spouse needs extra help; getting settled and finding employment would also create additional pieces of evidence, in case he needs to refile... Best of luck to you two.
  25. Realistically, you are looking at years of separation (unless you are able to visit her long term while you wait), and tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees. I am not sure how serious things are with your fiancée, or how feasible/palatable the idea of living away from the US is for you two, but you might want to have serious discussions about all that together before going further.
