    A week or two is normal speed, I wouldn't even request for an update until then. Six to 8 weeks for certain consulates/embassies.

If French bureaucracy is slowing you down (and the August date is not being a personal decision), then look into Utah Zoom marriage.     Tonight's drink is Boulevard Brewing Co. - Whiskey Barrel Stout Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout. Weather is cool and humid, so slowly sipping before bed time. It is very tasty, not too sweet, and the barrel-aged does not taste chemical. Will drink again.

    Some lucky ones get the sprint experience, most do the marathon. A few do the ultramarathon, and some others finish having experienced an obstacle race. (Un)fortunately, most do not pick their path, but being well-prepared can help smooth run.

    This is the best advice. In general, do not tell more info than what's needed about your immigration status, it will confuse them. Learn your rights.

    That's good to hear. She can always make another copy of her boarding passes, to use as evidence of her date of entry, should they question her if/when she decides to become a citizen. I guess her jewelry was so beautiful that they forgot to stamp her visa when she arrived. Please breathe now, you can't be this anxious, for everything. Enjoy nesting together!

    I think forums were more active back then - MENA had some crazy threads too. I debated linking to a few threads I found, because some of the content was so much weirder than what I remembered - but then, some of it is tragic [not all sad tragic, a lot of stupid tragic], so you'll have to search the archives - a lot of content for @Crazy Cat's book. Good that people got the hint and stop describing their sexual activities with so much details though 😆 .
