  1. Reached my one-day limit of posts yesterday and couldn't re-post until now. I think I hit the panic button a little too early yesterday....fearing you have to start all over after paying all the fees and completing most of the paperwork will do that. Upon further investigation, I finally found the correct case # and invoice ID #. I was able to login to the ceac.state.gov site with the correct numbers. The case appears to still be active and all fees have been paid. However, the AOS needs to be completed by the petitioner and the IV applications need to be completed by the applicant. We're in Steps 4-6 of the IV process. I still have some familiarity with the process, it's just been a long time since I dug into it but it's slowly coming back to me now. When I did this for my wife, it was all hard copies that had to be snail mailed. That forced me to double, triple and quadruple check everything before putting it in the mail. The online submission process seems to be less time consuming but also makes it easier to forget simple details (like the correct place to fine the case #) and having to get a new verification code every time you sign into USCIS is super annoying. Thank you @Crazy Cat and @appleblossom for your expeditious responses yesterday!
  2. Understood. How do I go about finding out if those documents have been submitted?
  3. One more question, what do you mean by "document-qualified?"
  4. Thank you. This was cited on the I-130 notice type: Notice Type: Approval Notice Section: Husband or wife of permanent resident, 203(a)(2)(A) INA Again, I don't recall seeing anything from the NVC nor do we have a different case number, to my knowledge. I used to be very well versed in all of this when I went through the process with my wife (K-1), but that was 20 years ago. A LOT has changed since then and I haven't had the time to keep up with all of it.
  5. IR1, petitioner is LPR and I just sent an inquiry to NVC this morning, but using the USCIS receipt number.
  6. LPR. I don't believe we ever received a case number from NVC. I'm concerned the case has been inactive for 2 years and has been terminated, per 9 FAM 504.13: https://fam.state.gov/fam/09FAM/09FAM050413.html However, we never received any termination notices. We spent a LOT of time and money on this process...really hoping we don't have to start all over again.
  7. I will try to keep this brief, but please read thoroughly: I'm assisting an adult stepson with the immigration process for his wife and son from the Philippines. I-130 was filed in August '21 and approved October '22. I am able to access all documentation through USCIS website. Case status states case was sent to DOS November '22 and refers me to DOS site for further info. However, when I input the case number and dob on the DOS website, I receive the message: case number and dob do not match and I am unable to obtain further information. I do know the applicant/daughter-in-law received a notification that the petition was approved and additional fees were paid for affidavit of support but I do not know if any additional steps were completed. Again, I am unable to obtain further info from the DOS site.
