Hello everyone, I'm an American citizen and my wife and step-daughter are Chinese. I'm back in the USA now working for my brother-in-law, and my wife and step-daughter are still in China. We're in the final stages before scheduling the in-person interview, but we're struggling mightely finding a co-sponsor. At the beginning of the process we asked my sister and she agreed, however once we were approved by USCIS, my sister informed me she could no longer be the sponsor due to personal reason. That started a chain of denials or just simply being ignored. I realize I shouldv'e had at least one back up in case something like this occured. We are so close to being reunited, yet this co-sponsor ordeal has halted our progress all together. I've literally asked all old and new aquaitences with no luck. My wife and I have officially no one else to ask. She's scouring Chinese-American websites and WeChat groups looking for anyone who can possibly help us reunite. Our lawyer mentioned we should try the forums here as well. People seem to think our best chance is someone who's currently in the USA now on a green card, who knows the process well. Hence, why my wife is searching all the Chinese language websites. If anyone knows of any resources, lawyers, people, any lead no matter how big or small could be beneficial. We're just looking for that break. Please feel free to contact me if you have any leads, suggestions, groups, friends, lawyers, etc, who know of potential co-sponsor's. Thank you all very much!

Thank you very much both of you! This is terrific information. I wish my lawyer was as forwarding thinking as the two of you. Yes, I've been working here now officially for about 4 months and the income is above the threshold to be the sponsor. I will ask my lawyer about this immeadiatly. Thank you both very much!
