  1. Hi all I've been working in the US on F-1 OPT visa after entering the US in 2022. I'm getting married to my fiancee who is a US citizen later this year and my parents are hoping to visit. My question was around how my dad should answer the question regarding the purpose of his visit to the US. I was concerned if him saying he's coming to attend my wedding would lead them to be suspicious if he would overstay his visa (although he absolutely has no plan to stay beyond the time of my wedding). He would of course not lie if asked if he's attending any special event, but is it better to just state the purpose is to visit me and spend time with me instead of giving too much details unless further probed? or is it better to be upfront and state that he wants the visa to attend my wedding. I'm a bit torn since I want to do the right thing but just wanted to know if there was a low-risk answer that is not a lie that would be a better options? Thanks in advance!
