From what i found, N-648 approval or denial is known during us citizenship interview? is there a way to know in advance? reason - If officer doesn't approve and start taking interview, what are steps we need to follow? example - start giving interview or ask for 2nd attempt? This way, 1st attempt will be lost if not prepared. What are options in this case?

Hi, My parents (Age 70+) have disability - One with physical disability and other with short term memory issues. How to get N-648 Waiver for that? Internal Medicine doctor is not willing to write/sign any immigration forms. As per them, they don't deal with any immigration forms. what can be done in this matter. Parents have green card for 6 years so they don't qualify for other waivers. Only option is N-648. How is San Jose, CA immigration office in terms of US Citizenship interview for elderly people. Any experience any one?
