I was wondering if you ever found out if your case qualifies for DCF or rather if you managed to find out if Vienna does do DCF? My American Husband and I are at the nearly exact same situation as you were when this conversation started. I am very sure DCF is definitely an option for a short notice job offer, yet it seems impossible to find information about it on the Vienna Consular website. Frankfurt has way more details written down about it and provides a separate Mail Adress for requesting them to accept your Petition.
