I received a speeding ticket with a fine of over $300 in 2022. I hired a lawyer to change the date, but I moved so I didn't receive any mail from the court or my lawyer. the lawyer didn't call me and I couldn't contact them about the new court date , so I was fined again (with different case number) for failing to appear I didn’t know about it.
In 2024, I needed to renew my driver license and got rejected because of that reason. In the end, I had to pay over $700 (spending ticket & failing to attend the court) to get my driver’s license renewed.
Should I include this in Form I-751? If so, on #20, should I stick on Yes and explain in Part 11 or stick No and write an explanation letter?
