Hey Guys,
Little back story - Been in the states for 14+ years on a green card and I've filled out the N400 but have somewhat of a concern on the OTHER NAMES USED. I born in Poland with the first name "Krzysztof", My parents immigrated to Canada and then ended up going through citizenship when I was a teen. My commemoration of Canadian citizenship shows my polish first name and then later in the document shows my English version of the first name "Christopher". Growing up, All my other documents were under my English first name. This includes Canadian passport, social, etc. When i came down on a K1 visa, then adjustment of status etc - I've always put down my legal name as Christopher and other names used as Krzysztof. Never had an issue.
Looking over the N400 - it tells you that you need a legal document showing a name change. It his going to be a problem? I do have the commemoration of Canadian citizenship showing both names. My Current Canadian passport, green card, social etc show my English version of the name - Christopher. My birth certificate shows first name Krzysztof. I also found my little Canadian Citizenship ID card - on the front it has my English name with my picture and on the back it has my Polish name.
