while her pre-appointment at the US embassy in Honduras my mom was asked for a form N-662, the person who attended her said I as a petitioner should send this form due to the my name in the application ( my married name) is different to my birth certificate. I got my residence after married an American, when we applied for residence we did it with married or legal name we weren't ask to file any form just the marriage certificate. When I filed the N-400 I did it with my legal or married name I wasn't asked to file that form (N-662)either. I filed my mom petition with my legal name every document was accepted and my mom's immigrant visa petition was sent to the US embassy in Honduras in order to get an appointment, so how can I get and send a form N-662 if I never filed it before? What can I do? should I to send a marriage certificate instead?
