  1. If i were to file the two back years, would i be able to get everything done to upload as proof in a few days? At my specific embassy, they usually send out interview letters a month prior to the interview date. I think i'm going to contact them as soon as i receive my interview letter, if they ask for the back years, i file then.
  2. I did as instructed and received the same response as the previous two inquiries. I'm starting to wonder if these responses came from actual people or robots. I probably have to wait until they send my case to the embassy then contact the embassy.
  3. Yes, all documents have been accepted and i got the documentarily complete notice. It's just this note that asks me to resubmit a document which has also been accepted.
  4. Yes the note is connected to a letter i wrote which i explain why i have no income at the moment but am actively looking for a job. I submitted the letter as "Others" and they changed it to "Explaination for not filling taxes" even though i did file 2024 tax and submitted it. Should i just submit the same letter as public inquiry?
  5. It says "Please resubmit the correspondence in this document at http://nvc.state.inquiry." I have no clue what they want to resubmit. I sent two inquies asking about it and they kept saying the case is documentarily complete and waiting to be scheduled for interview.
  6. But i don't know what they want me to resubmit. The letter or something else?
  7. Yes, and the joint sponsor's documents have been accepted.
  8. Yes, i do have a joint sponsor and their documents have been accepted.
  9. Hi folks, I received the documentarily qualified notice on March 19 but i also got a message asking me to resubmit a document at the same time. This message is related to a letter i submitted which explains why i have no income at the moment and am actively looking for a job. I submitted it as "Others" but the NVC officer changed it to "Explaination for not filling taxes". I wrote in my letter that I did not work in 2022, 2023 and i earned just a few thousands dollars in 2024 due to health issues but i filed 2024 taxes and sent it in. I asked NVC about it twice and i received the same exact response saying the case is documentarily complete and waiting to be scheduled without a clear answer to the request to resubmit. I'm just wondering if it was a system error or it is something that will be brought up at the interview. I would like to know if anyone have an answer so that i can prepare ahead of time to make sure the interview go smoothly. Thank you.
  10. Hi pushbrk, I did the calculation and the number came out to be under $14,600. But i'm still not sure if i was required to file because of the $400 threshold for self-employment. I made more than $400 but less than the Federal requirements. Could you please clarify this? Thank you so much.
  11. Hi pushbrk, Thank you for the detailed explaination. I have a couple questions if you don't mind. 1. I live in Massachusetts and the minimum requiring income to file tax is $8000 which i did not meet. But i've read that if you make more than $400 as a self employed person (i did make more than $400 in 2024), you must file tax return. Does that mean i was required to file and i have to enter the total income? 2. My parents filed jointly, do i still have the one with the most individual income do the I-864? Thank you.
  12. Hi folks, I was not able to work the last three years due to many health problems. Last year, i only made a few thousands dollars driving Uber/Lyft but i filed taxes. I'm filling the I-864 with my parents as joint sponsors because they make more than enough to sponsor my spouse. My mom will also file I-864 and my dad will file I-854A. I'm getting better and planning on driving more with Uber/Lyft while actively looking for a more stable job. On the U.S immigrantion website, it states that if you do not meet the minimum requirements to overcome the poverty guidelines, you have to submit proof of income and proof of assets which i do not have at the moment. Since i already have joint sponsors, should i just put zero as income on from I-864 and include a letter explaning my situation so that they don't ask for proof of income or assets? Thank you.
