  1. Update: We got our NOA1 in the mail today, March 17th.
  2. Hi, Can I ask what date did you have in the NOA 1? was it the day your check was cashed? Our petition was delivered on March 4th and the check was cashed March 7th, still waiting for a text/NOA1..
  3. Hi All, I'd like to ask how long it typically takes to receive the NOA1. Our K-1 petition was delivered to the Texas lockbox on 3/4, and USCIS cashed the check on 3/7. For those who have already completed the process or are currently going through it, how long should I expect the wait time to be for the NOA1?
  4. Hi everyone, I have a question about how I filled out the employment section in my K-1 visa application, and I’d really appreciate any insights. I’ve been working remotely for a U.S. company as a contractor for the past four years, but I live in Ecuador with my parents. I met my fiancé in 2023, and we’ve been visiting each other since late 2023. On my last trip to the U.S. in December, CBP warned me that I was visiting too frequently on a tourist visa and shortened my "admit until" date. Since I didn’t want USCIS to mistakenly assume I was working in the U.S. while visiting my fiancé (which was not the case), I decided not to include my employer’s U.S. address in the I-129F form. Instead, I listed my occupation as “Freelancer” with my home address in Ecuador and provided my job details as: Full Name of Employer: Freelancer Employer Address: My home address in Ecuador Occupation: Freelancer - Data & Reports Employment Dates: 2021 - Present I’ve heard that USCIS mainly focuses on the petitioner’s financial ability rather than the beneficiary’s employment details. Given how I filled out the form, could this cause any issues with my application? I don´t want to have any issues. I appreciate any advice. Thank you.
