Hello, My wife has the same identical problem... We got married in King County as well and we got a 221g asking for the notarized original marriage certificate. We had the same King County marriage certificate... The only thing I can think of was to send another certified copy with the Washington State Apostille... I really hope it works. Did you ever get your issue resolved? Thanks for any information you may have.
