I agree with Yogi. Get married here in the US since the legal marriage certificate recognized by our country is the one from here. Then once she is a greencard holder, have a blast over there!

My wife was stamped at Guam last 2000, then the plane had a stop over at Hawaii, then to California. Then she visited NY, WV, FL, NC, SC, and NV.
What is the place of last entry?

Thanks sir!
All of her friends were discouraging her to use a lawyer since both of us can understand english and can follow instructions.
I am glad to see your post and I am glad to know that I am not alone in keeping my wife here in the US.

She came in as a visitor visa way back in 2000. All her family is here and they told her to just stay and wait around until immigration laws change. Her sister was able to submit I-130 before the April 2001 deadline.
I met her last 2005 and asked her to marry me last 2006. We got married last year and has been a wonderful life.
I don't know exactly what we need now that I want to process all the papers. From the USCIS website it looks like we need
i-130 with supporting documents:
- Copies of our Birth Certificates
- Copy of our marriage certificates
- Passport photos each
- 325 A for each of us
- proof of financial co-mingling (copy of our joint account since 2006)
- fee
i-485 with supporting documents
- Copies of her birth certificate (again??)
- Copy of passport with non-immigrant visa
- Passport photo of her (again)???
- proof of her stay here (I assume I-94)
i-485 supplement
- Copies of her sister's application last 2001.
Did i get it right?
Am I missing something?
Someone told me to wait until I get a letter stating to show my affidavit of support in a local USCIS office in Los Angeles.

I thank God for the favor He has bestowed to me and to my wife. She applied last May of 2008 as a permanent immigrant via Marriage to me. She has used this website a lot to prepare all the application forms.
Last November 26, 2008 we were interviewed and got approved. We personally have no riches or property together except our (depleting) bank account. But she saw that we were real and that we love each other very much. It was a wonderful Thanksgiving as my little wife was able to lift her head with no fear.
Last Dec. 10 she finally received that little card that she carries around. On Dec 12, she already applied for social Security.
