Hello, I petitioned for my mom and currently she's AOS pending. I expect to get her SSN & EAD within 2 months. She plans to work (as a masseuse) after getting her EAD/SSN, and I'd like to purchase insurance for her because she has to spend most of her time outside working. However, I read the latest information on the Healthcare.gov website: Important update for DACA recipients & consumers with certain other immigration statuses Due to a court order issued on December 9, 2024, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients and consumers with certain other immigration statuses listed below are no longer eligible for Marketplace coverage if they live in these states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. Adjustment to lawful permanent resident (LPR/Green Card holder) status without an approved immigrant visa petition Does it mean my mom cannot purchase any marketplace insurance until her I-485 is approved?
