  1. Okay, we will do it like that too then! Thank you
  2. It unfortunately then puts it like that then: Attn Line USCIS ADDRESS
  3. Hello everyone, Apologies if this is a basic question, but my fiancé and I are creating a USPS shipping label online to mail our I-129F visa petition. We're unsure where to correctly place the "Attn." line. When generating the label, we entered it in the "reference number/note" field, but now it appears small at the bottom rather than formatted as it is on the USCIS website. Is there a way to enter it in a different field so it displays correctly? I've attached a photo showing how we currently formatted the address.
  4. Hello, In 2021, I stayed in the US for 4 months during an exchange semester on a J1 visa. Now I am wondering if that counts as "residing" and if I should add it to my address history in the K1 Visa petition? I lived at the university college dorm and it was only for one semester (Fall 2021, August-December). Thank you!
  5. Hello, In the K-1 Visa Petition, I need to list all the addresses where I have lived in the past five years. My primary address (my parents' home) has never changed since my birth. However, I have also lived at two different "secondary" addresses while attending university in different cities. Should I list these university addresses as previous residences, even though I am currently still living at one of them? I want to use my primary address as my current address since I spend most of my time there, while my university apartment is just temporary and a "secondary" home. Would this be confusing? Has anyone had the same issue? And how did you deal with it? Thank you!
  6. Also, the travel history for my current I-94 still shows the travel history back when I entered the US with the old passport that expired
  7. I have several photo copies of forms that I submitted/received regarding these visas as well as pictures of the visas in the old passport. I still have the original DS-2019 document. I hope that is enough, since the instructions say you should bring the passport containing the visas. I renewed my passport before the old one containing the visas officially expired, because at the time I wanted to travel it would not have been valid for 6 months anymore. Hence, I needed to renew it before the old one expired and that's why they kept the old one. At the time, I did not know I wanted to apply for a K1 visa.
  8. Hello everyone, I just read the instructions on the documents you need to bring to your K1 visa interview. It states you need to bring proof of your previous visas to the interview. In the past I had a J1 and F1 visa. However, I do not have the old passport anymore that contains the visas. When I renewed my passport a while ago, they took in my old one and did not let me keep it. What kind of evidence am I supposed to bring instead? Would appreciate some help. Thanks
  9. Hello everyone, My fiancé and I want to apply for the K1 visa soon. I met him in 2021 during my exchange year, for which I was issued a J1 visa. I have already calculated the days I have stayed in my home country up to this point and came to the conclusion that 2 years have passed. However, I am wondering at what point USCIS will ask me for evidence that I have stayed in my home country for two years. Will they send me a notice, does my fiancé have to send it in with the initial petition or will I be asked at the interview and am expected to bring evidence? Also, what type of evidence should I compile? Are my university enrolment certificates, job contract, apartment lease, bills, along with my I-94 of the times that I travelled to the US in the past years, enough? I would appreciate some help from someone who has already done this before Thank you!
