I wanted to ask for your help regarding my I-864 form for the upcoming visa interview.
Here’s the timeline of events:
In 2023, I submitted Form I-864 based on my 2022 income, and at that time, my income was sufficient, so I didn't need a joint sponsor.
In December 2024, I received the interview notice, and the interview is scheduled for February 2025.
Since my 2023 income is not sufficient, I submitted a Form I-864 from a joint sponsor, and I also uploaded my 2023 tax transcript, W-2, and 1099 forms.
Now, my question is: Do I need to submit a new or updated Form I-864 for myself (as the petitioner and primary sponsor) based on my 2023 income, or is the joint sponsor’s form sufficient?
