  1. Thank you @Canadian24 for your response! Are you saying that the O-1 process including the interview will take less (6-8 months) instead of a year? Is that because there are less people applying for O-1? Also, did anyone of your friends start working on TN while waiting for O-1 or EB visas? edit: oh, and for O-1 interviews is it correct that you could do it at the consulate in Toronto? It’s showing 41 days here https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/global-visa-wait-times.html
  2. Hi folks. I'm negotiating with a US company for a condition that I will be applying for EB-1 (premium processing), start working remotely, and relocate when I get the green card. Should I expect almost an 1-year wait between the DQ and an interview at the Montreal embassy? Also, would there be a way for me to work in the US (via TN visa?) while waiting for the interview?
  3. No, became a citizen over 20 years ago. Are you suggesting it’s taking longer than usual in the current climate?
  4. I'm currently talking with a potential employer in the US and was told that I should qualify for EB-1A immigration. Suppose it is approved with premium processing, how long should I anticipate the subsequent processing would take until I get a consular interview? I'm Canadian citizen, living in Canada. It seems like there are no backlogs based on the bulletin: https://www.immi-usa.com/visa-bulletin/ Does this mean I could get a interview scheduled immediately?
