  1. Hi, by any chance does someone know if you came under K1 and got married and filed for AOS, are you considered as a tax payer in US? I have insurance under my spouse and about to open a bank account soon and potentially soon I hope I will get an EAD. Currently, I need to buy update some information for my bank in my home country and technically you cannot be a tax payer in two countries. I'm not if anyone who is from Europe is familiar with this, I would appreciate your help.
  2. Is it only me, or did the "Case progress" tab with estimated time disappear or was it removed from the website?
  3. I appreciate for your answers. I won't pay that much attention to the estimated time then
  4. Out of curiosity, what is your estimated time for the case decision? Mine says 26 months.
  5. I checked USCIS website the scan files they submitted but I couldn't find my Ds-3025 among the scans even though I included it. Is that how it is supposed to be? I'm worried if it got lost
  6. Have you ever encountered an error like this on the USCIS platform? I cannot see my case status it shows an error.
  7. How many weeks/days in advance were you notified about the biometrics appointment? To make sure my spouse has a day off that day, we could plan ahead.
  8. I have great news. There is an update from USCIS. They updated and added the grace period for the updated forms I-485, N-400 and etc. 03/03/25. Starting 4/3/25 we will only accept the 01/20/25 edition. Until then, you can also use the prior edition(s).
  9. Do you include the rejection letter with it? Can you use the old forms you signed and filed, or do you have to reprint them with a new signature date?
  10. Also how do you refile if your I-94 is already expired?
  11. So does that mean I cannot refile? And I have to leave US first and then refile if it will get rejected?
  12. I was reading Reddit posts, linkedin posts from immigration attorneys, and a news article. According to them, it is still unclear how it will be; some of them are saying that the applications will be simply rejected. According to the information on the USCIS website, this new form was available since 01/20/2025, but it wasn't, and they applied changes on 03/03/2025.
  13. I tried contacting to an agent through Emma chatbot. However, today it does not appear on the website for some reason, only an old tab on Chrome still had this feature to contact Emma. I received this type of reply:
