  1. "We recently submitted my I-485 applications (Principal Applicant and Spouse as a beneficiary) with the help of our company attorney. The attorney sent the package to USCIS on 01/28/2025. I requested scanned copies of both the Principal Applicant’s and Spouse’s applications. When I reviewed the scanned package, I noticed a mistake. In one package, the cover page for the Principal Applicant was included, but inside, it contained materials for the Spouse. In the second package, the cover page for the Spouse was included, but it contained the Principal Applicant’s forms (I-485, I-131, I-765) and documents. I’m not sure if this will be a major issue, but I want to address it proactively. Here’s my situation: I-140 PD: March 30, 2023 STEM OPT (24 months) expires: May 31, 2025 (only 4 months left) The Principal Applicant and Beneficiary live in different states due to work requirements. Has anyone faced a similar situation? If so, what steps did you take to resolve it? Should I ask my attorney to send an explanation letter to USCIS after we receive the receipt notice? Any advice or insights based on your experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!" #i-485 #AOS
