Hello everyone, End of January I received 3 papers in the mail. One receipt for i-130, an other one for the i-485 and a rejection letter saying my i-765 has been rejected because payment couldn't be processed. Which is odd because they were able to process my card for the two other forms, but anyway. Since that, about 2 weeks ago, my lawyer has sent the i-765 form again with a different payment method. I haven't received the receipt yet. I have my biometrics in 2 days. So my question is, the fact that the i-765 hasn't been submitted at the same time as the i-130 and i-485, will that slow the approval of my work permit? I can't wait to go back to work! Thank you.

Thank you. Does the fact that USCIS had my case before the end of my visa changes something? Even though they sent it back because of that credit card issue... Which date will they keep?

Hello, I am in the process of applying for a GC through marriage. Was on a J1 before. So my problem is USCIS couldn't run my card for the different fees. So they are sending back my case to my lawyer. We sent the case to USCIS on January 2nd, it's now January 28th and still nothing came back, is that normal? Also, what is very much worrying me is that the grace period of my J1 comes to an end on January 31st and I'd hate to be an overstay, would that be the case? It is very annoying especially when I sent everything on time... Thank you.
