    Hi, Me and my wife recently got married. She is US citizen and I am in F1 opt visa. We are planning to apply green card through marriage. I am working as a postdoc. my wife graduated from vet school 7 months ago thus, she only has 7 months of working history. She is working as a relief veterinarian as an independent contractor. Her income is above the USCIS requirement. I have heard that she needs to have three years of working history. Is that really correct or is it okay go ahead to apply?
