    My wife is an USC, and her parents applied for B1/B2 couple times but it was rejected with a reason that they don't have strong ties to return back. They don't want to immigrate to US and their plan was just to visit us once in few years for few months. Shouldn't this be obvious for Visa Officer, if they're eligible for Green Card but still applying B1/B2 means they will return back after a visit? Well we are done wasting money on B1/B2 now and finally applied their I130 since we don't have any other options even they are unhappy that they have to stay in US for more than six months each year. Got a receipt notice for January 23rd. Progress bar showing 23 Months ETA for case approval. Good luck everyone!
