  1. Hello. Getting the CFO appointment was easy. I believe they offer 47 morning and 47 afternoon slots. There were openings available like 2 days after we picked up the visa. You must have visa in hand before you can schedule the appointment. They want the Visa number.
  2. Hello, My wife is registered for her CFO Guidance Counseling Program in Manila. The ID requirements state: Original valid passport and additional two (2) valid IDs. She has a passport and Philippine Identification card. I searched their ID examples and did not come up with much. I have no idea what she could acquire for the other valid ID. It seems like a Passport and Phil. ID would be enough. Are they strict about that 2nd ID? She does NOT have a driver's license or a voter ID. Can you share your experience with the ID's you know have been accepted for the CFO program. Thank you
  3. We got an email within 24 hours that the passport with visa is available for pickup and it was. Very fast service.
  4. Hello, My wife just attended her interview at the US Embassy in Manila and her Visa was approved. Question 1: What do we need now to get her out of the country. I was made aware of the Pre Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) with the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO). I was also curious if she needs a Emigration Clearance Certificate(ECC). Question 2: I have two children, born in the Philippines and never exited country, that have Philippine and USA Passports. Do I need to acquire an ECC for them? And is there anything else required to get for the children to exit the country. Thank you for your comments. Gregory Hall
  5. I wrote to St Lukes and asked them the same question. They responded with the following: Please be informed that your IGRA result will not affect your visa application. You may proceed with your interview schedule. Thank you CS1MF St. Luke's Medical Center Extension Clinic CS1MFSt. Luke's Medical Center Extension Clinic
  6. Hello, My wife just completed her immigration medical exam at St. Lukes in Manila yesterday. I just received the email with her Vaccination Worksheet and her Interferon - Gamma Release Assy test. The IGRA test stated results: Positive and Interpretation: M. tuberculosis infection is likely. Does this mean she does not qualify for her scheduled immigration interview at the US Embassy? I know her results are being delivered to the US Embassy. Will the US Embassy contact us when they receive these test results and inform us of our next steps? Thank you, Greg H
  7. Hello, My wife finally got her letter from the Embassy, stating she is cleared to schedule her VAC and interview. The letter states "Immediate Action Required" and "Missing/Expired documents: PSA Advisor on Marriages. I checked the CEAC and I did upload our Adivisory of Marriages. These documents are dated February 2023. Have you ever heard if these docuuments are ever too old or expired? I did go back and read the USCIS instructions requiring the Advisory of Marriages and it does not state any expiration date. Have you any experience with this? Thank you
  8. Calling tip for you. I called them using this number +63 2 8548 8223 or +63 2 7792 8988 It is automated of course. One of the options, I think it was #3 has an option at the end of the message to speak with someone. I actually had someone answer within 60 seconds.
  9. Have you tried to call the Embassy in Manila and ask them if they could help you get an appointment?
  10. Hello, On 12/12/24 I received the letter from NVC that my wife's case was documentarily complete and the NVC sent her visa application to the Embassy in Manila. The last sentence of the letter read, "The Embassy will contact you soon to schedule a visa interview." A month has passed with no word so I sent a message to the MNL Embassy. They wrote back explaining the new Visa Application Center. So I assumed I needed to schedule the appointment myself on the new portal I went to the TravelDocs portal and a disclaimer stated: "If you meet any of the following conditions, do not schedule an immigrant visa interview appointment:" * "You have not received instructions from the Embassy or NVC that you may schedule an interview." I have not directly been instructed that I may schedule an interview. My question for you is, do I go ahead and schedule an appointment or do I have to wait for specific instructions from the MNL Embassy to schedule an appointment on the USTravledocs portal? I have been waiting over two years to get my family back together, and I don't like the mystery of wondering if the Embassy will contact me or if I should go ahead and schedule it myself on the portal. Thank you for helping me.
