    But with standalone it should be faster! right? I have read mixed responses, some say 4-6 weeks , some say 6-8 weeks and so on.. No clear pattern as of now!

    Hi, I have recently submitted my i131 form to USCIS by mail. My next step is Biometrics appointment. Since i need to book my flight ticket in advance, wanted to check by when can i expect the biometrics appointment post receipt of the i131 application to USCIS? As in how much time it takes to get the biometrics appointment after USCIS has received the i131 form? Thanks in advance!

    Hi All, I am filing for i131 Re entry permit application. Does the filing fee includes biometric fee or i need to pay biometric fee separately? What is the final amount that i should write in my personal check to USCIS. Should it be $630 ? OR Should it be two separate cheques totaling $715 One for $630 (Filing fee) One for $85 ( Biometrics fee) I only see $630 on fee calculator page for USCIS, but not sure that do i need to pay biometrics upfront or later or it is already included. Also it's nowhere mentioned. Looking forward for some quick responses. Thanks in advance!

    Hi All, I am a GC holder and i have plans to stay outside of US due to family reasons in my home country. Hence i am looking to apply for Form i131 re-entry permit which allows me to stay outside of USA for maximum 2 years (from the i131 approval date), ensuring that i intent to maintain my residency with the USA. Due to my official reasons, i might have to travel to USA once or twice in a year from my home country for business trips. Below is my query: After the i131 re-entry approval, Can i make multiple short trips back to USA for my official reasons within the 2 years validity of Re-entry permit? If yes, does it impact my existing re-entry permit in any form? Does my existing re-entry permit gets cancelled if i travel back to USA before 2 year approval limit, and do i need to apply to new re-entry permit if that is the case? I couldn't find any clarity with reference to multiple short trips back to USA on USCIS website, hence thought to connect on this forum. Any leads would be highly appreciated! Thanks,
