appreciate the quick reply. Yes, we'll try to go down the Direct Consular Filing route -- I feel like we have a good chance it'll be accepted, but in case it won't, there are no downsides, correct?

as per title - I am Italian, living in the Netherlands. My (soon to be) wife is a USC also currently living in NL. We'll start our CR-1 journey after our wedding--the process is surely complex but very exciting. One question I can't seem to find the answer for is: since I am an Italian citizen but a NL resident, will I have to deal with the consulate in Naples, Italy or the one in Frankfurt, Germany when the time comes? Really hoping it's the German one, for obvious reasons thanks
