  1. I work Saturdays, my days off aren't consecutive.
  2. I appreciate all the feedback, I am hoping that because my beneficiary is from the UK that it wouldn't pose as a big risk, for those that don't understand why it's difficult for us to meet this year its because of timing due to work/final year at her Uni, we're both very busy. (not impossible it's just very difficult to book flights with the uncertainty) If we could marry right now without a doubt we both would, we knew when we got into a long distance relationship with each other that it was for the long run, we're both 100% clear with that the fact and we want to start a new life together. There's no big age age gap,( both in our 20s), have the same interests and hobbies etc. I make more than enough to support her transition while she waits to be able to work, get her license etc. (The good news is she has close family and friends here too so she won't be alone.)
  3. I understand but would we be denied if we didn't? We are struggling to find the time to do so.
  4. I filed the I-129F and we're waiting for the NOA1, we've been thinking about the interview stage. For context the nature of relationship is pretty different, we met online through playing video games, she's a student currently close to graduating this year (the beneficiary was born and raised in the UK) and I've been working at a new job for a couple months now. Last year 2024 was the year we officially met and stayed together for two weeks (we started dating the year prior 2023). We filed this Year and we're worried about the fact that we've only met in person once up until this point, because she's busy with school and I've only started working at this new job recently we struggle finding the time to meet in person. We have considered meeting in person again before the interview but we wouldn't be able to meet long at all because of our schedules and so that might not look great either. We have enough evidence to show we're in an ongoing relationship with our call logs, we've been calling daily for hours and hours since the end of 2023 and we have text messages too. Should we meet again or will this be enough for the interview stage?
  5. This will be a hefty post so just a heads up, and to anyone that responds thank you for your time, we really appreciate it. I'm the petitioner and I'm assembling all the documents needed to send the I-129F application, this will be my last post and I'm just making sure everything is correct! Here is what our application has: 2 passport photos (petitioner & beneficiary) G-1145 Form Cover Letter I-129F petition form & part 8 Additional Information 4 x A4 pages of photos of us meeting in person ( 7 photos total ) Petitioner's E-tickets for flights/itinerary Beneficiaries' E-ticket & Boarding passes/itinerary Airbnb Receipt/Reservation Bank Statements to show wire transfer from beneficiary to petitioner to pay the Airbnb Deposit Car Rental Receipt from petitioner 19 x A4 pages of Call logs/Facetime screenshots all dated (we have to prove our relationship is real and sadly is difficult for both of us too meet because of my job and because she's busy with university studies, in her final year currently) Copy of Petitioner's birth certificate Copy of Beneficiary's certified birth certificate & Passport Beneficiary's I-94 Travel Records Gifts receipts/shipment receipts sent to beneficiary from petitioner. Letter of Intent For context she is a student studying in the UK, currently on her way to graduate this year, we met and began dating towards the end of 2023 and officially met in person during the summer of 2024 when we decided we wanted to marry each other after we departed, we met through an online horror game ( we both have the same hobbies/ interests ). This is what we have collected and assembled so far, the only and last problem is that I can't seem to remember or acquire information surrounding all the places where I worked from the last 5 years, as of now I can only recall 3 jobs from now to 2023, will this be an issue?
  6. Hi, I'm the petitioner and I'm assembling all the documents needed to send the I-129F application, we plan on sending it off today but we're not sure if we should include that my beneficiary met me last year using an ESTA and returned to the UK a month before her total allowed time to stay in the US. We think that it shows proof that we met in person amongst all the other proof her I-94 travel record, boarding passes, e tickets etc. We've seen that apparently it's a red flag to show an ESTA in the K1 VISA application as evidence and we're not sure? Does anyone know if this is true, if it should or shouldn't be included?
  7. Okay so just to make sure, it would then be perfectly fine to NOT list any of this in the I-129F form? I saw somewhere that you wouldn't need to provide information but you still have to list the offence to be transparent? So sorry if it sounds dumb It's just difficult seeing conflicting information out there.
  8. Hi, I'm the petitioner and I'm assembling all the documents needed to send the I-129F application, I've had 3 traffic violation charges (all misdemeanors), all of which are under $500 (speeding ticket, no proof of insurance and car was not registered but then I proved I had insurance, no seatbelt which was about 8 years ago). No money was left outstanding but I'm seeing a lot of mixed information about people receiving RFE's for not including court documents for the same offences. I have never been arrested and I have no criminal record, only traffic offences that are, again, under $500. Should I include this information in the K1 visa packet anyway? I don't want to delay the case by providing unnecessary information or hurt my case with it, but I also don't want to delay or hurt my case by potentially omitting this kind of information.
  9. Hey guys, I'm in the process of assembling our documents for the K1 visa, my beneficiary is from the UK and she has sent the original (wet ink signature) document of our letter of intent. The problem is we forgot to include my middle name (US petitioner) in the letter. We both stated we were legally able to and willing to marry within 90 days but we're not sure if the letter of intent will now pose a problem. We saw it was possible for her to reprint, sign and send a scan of the signed letter of intent, but we are also worried we will end up receiving an RFE for that.
