  1. Here's the letter of intent we used. I've redacted dates and other info but you get the idea Statement of Intent to Marry and circumstances of meetings within the immediate two years previous We, {Petitioner Full name} and {Beneficiary Full name} do state that, we do intend to lawfully marry within, and remain married from, the 90 days after {petitioner} arrives within the United States after receiving a K-1 Visa. Circumstances of Meetings within the previous 2 years: {Beneficiary} visited {Petitioner} in 2022, arriving in Los Angeles, California on the {day} of {month}, {year}, and continuing to {Town}, {State} where {Petitioner} and {Beneficiary} met for the first time in person. {Petitioner} and {Beneficiary} resided together in {Town}, {State} until {Petitioner}’s departure back to Australia on the {day} of {month}, 2022 via Los Angeles, California {Petitioner} visited {Beneficiary} in {City}, {Aus State}, Australia. {Petitioner} arrived in Australia on the {Day} of {Month}, 2022 and departed back to the United States on the {day} of {month}, 2023 {Beneficiary} is currently, as of writing, visiting {Petioner} in {town}, {state}. {Beneficiary} arrived in the United States through Los Angeles, California on the {day} of {month}, 2023 and will be departing on the {day} of {month}, 2023 {Petitioner Full Name} {Beneficiary Full Name} ____________________ ____________________ Date:_______________ Date:_______________
  2. As I said in the Facebook group for Sydney (repeating here for the sake of others who might come across this), my medical was after my interview. I arrived with my passport, expecting them to take it and mail it for me as well. They did not. The reception was very sure that they do not mail them on my behalf. According to the doctor I had, it takes about 1-2 days after the appointment for them to put the packet together. Because your husband's interview is AFTER the medical, he will not need to mail it to the consulate. When he receives it in the mail, which by my estimate would be the 6th of March, he just needs to take it with him to his interview. It is very very very important that he does not open the medical when he receives it. It has very large "DO NOT OPEN" tape on it.
  3. My fiance and I filed and sent the I-129f while I was there visiting her. We sent it, included my I-94 number and mentioned I was leaving at the end of January and it never came up again. We even got the required photos from the same place and included them. Our letter of intent also mentioned that I was there at time of filing, making our 'time since last meeting' time effectively 0 days
  4. There's only 3 doctors in all of Australia that can do the medical and one of them got sick so everyone had their appointments rescheduled but even before she fell sick, my appointment was after my interview. It was about 1 week after, but they cancelled and rescheduled to a whole month after. But yes, it's all booked up and the amount of doctors allowed to perform the medical is very small. When I went for my interview, the CO said "I'm going to say the legalese and then say it in plain english. I am refusing to issue you a visa under section 221(g) of the INA because of your missing..." and he gestured to me to finish the sentence and I said "medical". He handed me a green 221(g) notice and he sounded like he had said that about 100 times that day
  5. Just looked at their FB page for the first time and yeah, they were off Jan 9 so I've got a bit more waiting to do. Luckily I'm not really in a rush. Gives me more time to save money to have during that period between arriving and work auth Classic. An issue we're having in Australia is that everyone, and I mean EVERYONE getting their interviews in Sydney is getting them BEFORE their medical appointment. When I went to my interview, basically everyone around me was saying their medical was after their interview. I gathered from that every K applicant got 221(g)ed. Glad they resolved your issue though. The frustration seems to never end but it will
  6. I'm at 15 I believe. My consulate also says it can take up to 3 business to get through security, so I might actually be at 13 for all I know
  7. I've been waiting since Dec 20th for mine. I've just learned that when the consulate said "It should take 15 business days", that is meaningless and it'll happen when it happens
  8. I know Australia isn't the same, but my consulate says it can be up to 15 business days to process and print. My case also says Refused but I had a 221g.
