Do I need a job offer from US employer before the green card interview for E2 visa category.?

Hi all, My spouse's employer sponsored this I-140 application on EB-2 and my spouse passed away a few years back. Then I-140 was reinstated to my name later, I applied for I-824, and the case was transferred to NVC. Now my case is pending in NVC and waiting for an interview. DQed on Oct 2024. But the visa class type shows E2. What is the difference between EB2 and E2? Has anyone faced this issue.? Attached is the screenshot.
