    We have our interview soon but there are some changes to our plans. My wife is a student and she finishes her studies next year as she is in maternity leave right now. So, the plan is to get the immigrant visa, go to US, stay there one-two months, get the green card and come back to Canada so she can finish her studies. Will this change of plan cause any problem in the interview?

    Hello, We are scheduled to attend the interview (EB2 NIW) on 17th January but my son was born recently (long after DQ) and I want to add him to my application. Based on my understanding, I should write to the Montreal embassy IV email (Montreal-IV-DV@state.gov) and make the request by providing his birth certificate and passport. I did this two weeks ago, and yet I haven't received a response! Did I do it wrong? Is there any other paths to add him to my application?
