  1. My husband lives in mainland China and is awaiting his Spouse visa. I live in NYC. I am planning to fly back to see him and to enter the US together with him, for when his Spouse visa is granted. My question is, would it be possible for us to fly out of another destination like Hong Kong, together to America after he gets his visa from the consulate in Mainland? Is there a general rule that he must fly out of mainland China where he obtained his Spouse visa? We wanted to visit my family before coming to America and make that stop in Hong Kong and wanted to go straight to HK and then to America from HK. I was wondering if we could just fly out of Hong Kong instead of going back to mainland China to fly out to America?
