Today our i129f was approved! 3 weeks short of a year. Status changed to RFE on May 5. Evidence was received at USCIS on May 19. Evidence sat for 2 weeks unopened. "Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received" status on June 2. This status lasted 3 days until approved June 5. In total, the RFE cost us a month of time even though we mailed the evidence back in 3 days after receiving the letter.

They asked for further proof of relationship. I had previously provided all proof of meeting in person but it wasn't enough?!? Oh well, we sent more recent pictures and evidence of another in person meeting since filing i129f along with written history of our relationship. By god, i hope that's enough.

4 days would be a godsend.... I am not that optimistic given our experience so far.

Finally we received RFE first week of May. Sent all evidence within 3 days of receiving official RFE letter including evidence of additional in person meeting since filing the i129f . Now waiting for RFE status to update again. According to my certified mail, they received our RFE Response today. I wonder how long it takes for approval once RFE evidence is received?

STILL NOT APPROVED We are June 28. We are in a batch of ten that haven't yet been touched. This is INSANE!!!!!

June 28 NOA1 here. How is it possible that we can't even contact USCIS until a year and week after our NOA1 date? This is absurd that there is not a way to get them to address this skipped batch today. I saw and felt so sad for the February-March 2024 batch that was skipped. How could they repeat the mistake again so quickly? Why can't a single communication method be used to say "WAKE UP, you skipped a batch!" I'd love to have an employee of CSC to join us here. Perhaps USCIS should allow an insider to join this community and provide informal updates. I know tech companies monitor their users' forums. Yeah, i know... be patient... yadda yadda yadda :'(
