Hello! Really hoping to get some insight on my situation. My husband and I applied for naturalization in July and we tried to submit our N-400 application forms and payment together so we could possibly go through the process together. We were both scheduled for Biometrics on the same day in August and did that together. On November 5 I got an email saying I had been scheduled for an interview but my husband didn’t get his. About a couple of hours later I got another email saying my interview had been cancelled or descheduled and I would be informed when a new date has been scheduled or a decision is made on my case. Last week my husband got an email saying his interview had been scheduled for January but mine has not been rescheduled. What’s puzzling is that bow, when I check my progress on my account it shows step 3, which is the interview process as scheduled and completed and that I’m on step 4, which is waiting for case decision. My case status still shows that my interview was cancelled or descheduled and that I will be contacted if that changes. I’m so confused as to what is going on and have not been able to talk to someone at USCIS for possible explanation. Can anyone help with what could be going on? Thanks
