Hi, I'm currently based in the UK under skilled worker visa. I'm planning to visit my boyfriend in the US and I will stay there with him for 3 months. Question is, since my current employer would not allow me to have long-term leave and I'll decide to resign, would I be questioned by the immigration regarding my employment status? Also, if my boyfriend would decide to propose after my 3 months stay, would the immigration ask my employment status in the UK as well?
