Hi everyone, I have a bit of an unusual situation and I'd like to ask for your opinion.
I've been doing freelance work for over 3 years and recently moved to a country different from my home country for my master's. My freelance work was registered under an LLC in my home country, and I found out that it is not allowed to work freelance in a different country if you don't have a work visa. I will be ending my contract with the company tomorrow but since I've been considering applying for the US tourist visa, I am not sure how to explain this situation or if it will cause any problems. Currently, I am a full-time student and do not have any other jobs, so my primary occupation in the form will be student.
So my question is: do I need to state that I previously did freelance work in the form? If I have to, how should I enter the dates? I am hesitant to enter the date of the day my contract ended since I've already been here for a while and it might raise suspicion. Is it okay to enter the date I moved here?
