    Hi! Thank you again for your response. That's so great! Also for anyone else looking into this thread in future. I sent query email to the consulate. They openned the appointment booking option for me yesterday. I could book my appointment after 10 days of the pre-approval request. Although, I don't exactly know the reason for it. I am glad I could get an appointment. Earliest appointment available was on the 9th of January 2025 which I took.

    Hi! Thank you very much for the reply. Do you mean when you applied in usvisascheduling for interview appointment pre-approval, the process was completed in the same day? does that mean you could book an appointment in the same day? My CR1 case is also an expedited interview case. I also logged in to ustraveldocs-usvisascheduling and applied for interview pre-approval in the same day I received instruction from the frankfurt consulate to do so. However, it's been 1 week, the case still shows 'open' in usvisascheduling. And I have not received any interview appointment neither do I have any option in my usvisaschedule profile to book an appointment. I wonder, have I done something wrong during the application? I noticed there was a comment option at the end of the application which I left blank. Could it be a factor? Thank you in advance for your response.

    Hi! I hope you got your interview appointment already. Can you please reply how long did it take for them to approve your pre-approval application for the interview appointment in usvisascheduling/traveldocs? Thanks!
