Hello, I have been a LPR for 7 years through marriage with a US citizen, and applied naturalization this year. I have never held a 2 year (conditional GC?) green card — I have received the 10 year one, as we had been married over 3 years by the time of my I-485 interview happened. I didn’t really think twice about filing a I-751 as I’ve never held a 2 year GC… I thought it was pretty obvious and straightforward, but I can’t seem to find anything through searching. After seeing someone post their denial for not having filed I-751, I’m a little scared! It’s a little late, but do I need it? should I file it now? Thanks everyone for your valuable insights!
