    Hello, I am a US citizen, currently processing my wifes visa. Her I-130 has already been approved. Since that time we decided on adopting her sisters infant son and are going through the process in the Philippines. To make a long story short. Pending finalization of the adoption, would I need to file a seperate petition for the child before the process is complete?
