  1. Hi everyone, I’m planning to travel to America soon on my O1 visa. Just wondering what the port of entry is like. Do you all suggest going to JFK or Newark? I heard many horror stories about rude officers yelling at people but idk if this differs for each airport.
  2. Thanks!! It did change into “issued” 🙂
  3. Hi all, I had my interview yesterday at the US Consulate in Amsterdam, for my O1 visa. The officer said it’s approved and I should have my passport back in a week. I asked him if he needed anything else and he said I’m all set. I checked the status on CEAC website and it said “approved” after the interview, but it changed to “application received” on the same day. Has anyone been in the same boat? I worry this isn’t gonna go right. Is this a normal thing in the process? thanks!!
  4. Hi! My O1 visa got approved by USCIS! I’m likely going to the embassy in either Amsterdam or Brussels for interview. Does anyone know what the interview for O1 is like? Anyone experience with Amsterdam or Brussels by chance?
  5. Hi does anyone know this my case number starts with IOE Does this mean my case was filed digitally including portfolio? Or not necessarily?
  6. Hi Someone told me there are more denials and RFEs coming from Vermont vs other service centers? Is this true?
  7. Maybe that's why they did? Odd it was the same person twice.
  8. Oh wow really. They didn't reach out to your agent first? Did they call a testimonial letter signer or future employer? I actually thought this would rarely happen.
  9. Hello, I'm applying for an O1 visa. I have 8 testimonial letters but one of my signers is asking if immigration is going to reach out to him. I know him and I think he just wants to be prepared. Silly question, but they ever do that? What can I say? If they do, would they call or email? I never heard of uscis reaching out to employers or signers and if they do they only send an email or postal mail, but I might be wrong. Thanks, Renee
