What if I were to have saved enough to pay the monthly instalments until I was able to work in the US?

Hi, I am wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation regarding being a UK Citizen with a debt management plan applying for a K-1 Fiancè visa with my partner who lives in US and part of the US military. Will being in a debt management plan affect our application?
