Newark Interview: Declining Name Change for Same-Day Oath?

I have an interview scheduled at the Newark field office in early December, and I requested a name change on my application. I know Newark typically offers same-day oath ceremonies. Does anyone know if I can decline the name change request during the interview to get same-day oath instead? I'd rather have the same-day oath than wait for a separate ceremony later. Has anyone had experience with this?
