My fiance interviewed last week and was to she was not initially approved due to a single criminal conviction occurred in 2011. She was charged and convicted of in possession of stolen property (Samsung cellphone). She had accidentally grabbed the wrong phone on the way out of the car of the individual they were actually after. She has no other violations since. The was sentenced to 13 months. The interviewer had expressed intrigued or confusion when looking ant the computer and informed my fiance she will look into this further and handed her a 221g white paper and kept her passport.
my fiance explained the entire sequences of events and circumstances and although she didn’t committed the crime she accepted her fate in 2011 while she was 19 years old and haven’t been in trouble with the law since.
does anyone have any experience in this or heard of similar situation and outcome?
