I, M26 & U.S. Citizen, was reaching out to the community here regarding my girlfriend's immigration to the U.S. and we're now seeking advice on the best path forward. Her story began with a promising US immigrant visa application that had progressed to its final stages. She was on the brink of scheduling her IOM flights, with her case status still showing as "in progress." However, fate intervened when an opportunity to migrate to Canada presented itself. Seizing this chance, she made the move to Canada and has since become a permanent resident there. While we're grateful for this opportunity, we want her to move here to the States and to start living together.
