I want to do an expedite request because I am sick. Does USCIS only expedite if the beneficiary is sick.
I have copy and pasted the letter I want to send to USCIS here:
To Whom It May Concern:
This letter, along with the enclosed documentation, is submitted by petitioner Sonia in support of her request to expedite her K1-visa application. The evidence provided aims to demonstrate that this request meets one or more of the relevant criteria for consideration, particularly the criterion of an urgent humanitarian situation.
I am living with schizophrenia and am an amputee, which significantly impacts my ability to care for myself and my daughter. My condition has worsened in recent years, leading to a loss of employment and a criminal record. Since 2021, I have experienced severe hallucinations, making it impossible to hold a job or care for my daughter. These hallucinations led me to believe I was sexually assaulted by my army recruiter, prompting me to contact her several times, ultimately resulting in a criminal charge.
While medication initially provided some relief, I can no longer afford it, leaving me unable to manage my symptoms effectively and putting my daughter's safety at risk. My living situation is not great either and I desperately need support. The arrival of my fiancé, in the United States would provide crucial assistance. He would be able to help care for me and our daughter, offering the stability and support that are currently unavailable.
We believe this urgent humanitarian situation, jeopardizing both my health and my daughter's well-being, justifies expediting my K1-visa application.
