  1. Get an immigration lawyer that specializes in consular processing, at this point it might be worth the investment. They have ways to engage the consulate and get a response from them.
  2. okay, have you tried calling them? The numbers to the visa unit are 418-478-1369 or 438-793-1947. Do you have an immigration lawyer?
  3. That means that its still in AP, something is wrong with your paperwork where they need more verification from your home country and they are not getting it, so thay have retuened your passports till they do, after that they will ask for your passports back.
  4. Finally Greened! Crossed at ambassador bridge POE and was painless. Thank you to the community for the support
  5. We just got approved for immigrant visa (EB-1) through consular processing and have our passports, planning to enter the US through land border between Canada and USA, has anyone gone through this process? Can you share your experience at the border?
  6. They do not mention when AP is done, "refused" means that you are in AP. It took me 4 weeks to get the passport back. But make sure to keep checking your case status everyday. It will change to "ready" and then "Issued". Once its Issued, they will send you the passport tracking number. Make sure you go for premium delivery to your home address due to the canada post strike. You should be getting an approval soon!
  7. We got our passports back today and will be entering the US in a few days. Glad that this is finally over! Big thanks to the community for the support.
  8. Thats great news! Can you tell me which email address did you get the confirmation from the consulate?
  9. Thats amazing that you got the tracking#, does it tell you when your package will be delivered? Does the new tracking# show up on your usvisa.info account? What Visa category are you in?
  10. You still have time to go into the usvisa.info website account and change to premium processing. I called the visa unit today and they confirmed that if you have premium delivery, it will be not impacted due to the strike. I hope the tracking number comes in the next couple of days for both of us.
  11. Does your status show "Issued"? If you did not use premium, are you picking it up locally in Montreal?
  12. Our visas were issued today, hopefully we will get it next week. They use Purolator through Canada Post, not directly so not sure if this strike impacts the delivery but we will see.
  13. Now that Canada Post is on strike, is there a way for the consulate to even send the passports back? Or we are simply a bunch of people with horrible luck? lol
  14. When was the last time you did medical? What is your country of origin? Are you a Canadian Citizen?
  15. does anyone have any updates on their cases? Mine is still the same, will be 4 weeks since the passports were sent.
  16. What case update did you get on CEAC? Did the status change or the last updated date change?
  17. No, nothing yet. Any update on your case? Did they confirm that they have your passport?
