  1. @KVVO It was very smooth when I entered the DFW border, the officer took my passport and sealed envelop and did everything, then returned the passport. I don't have to do anything. I received SSN via mail after 8 days and the Greencard is printed after 3 weeks, and was delivered a week after. The Green card number is the Registration Number on your Visa, right under your IV Case Number. Welcome to America!
  2. @HannaVi just walk in within the given timeframe (12:00.- 14:00), I know someone came a little bit late, but it was fine. @Austin96 yes I think so
  3. Yeah, so it's difference case by case. I just got some small A4 envelops + passports. Cheers ^^
  4. @KVVO Did you mean the plastic envelop? It contains our passports + yellowish envelopes which are with DO NOT OPEN tags. You should take your passport with you to travel actually.
  5. @EB1Aspirant Congratulations! Yes, we received passports with Visa and a hard envelop for each member (named and yellowish with DO NOT OPEN tags). Haven't you received your original documents after the interview? CEACStatTracker only shows you when the Visa is issued, if you see "Issued" for your case, that's fine. My status was changed to "Issued" at the end of the interview day. For the passport and envelops return, you can check it from DX via the link below. Have you booked DX delivery before the interview? https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv/users/sign_in
  6. @KVVO Yes that was me (a family of 4). Congrats! 😃
  7. Hi all, an update on my surprising interview this morning 😀 My appointment was at 8:30 but I arrived at 8:00, there were 2 long queues outside, I went to queue in row 1 for check-in first and the lady asked me to go straigth into the security check (IV applicant doesn't need to queue on row 2. 8:15 - hand over my sealed documents to the officer, they did some careful check once again - easy. I was asked to sit there and wait for to be called. Weird thing begins: 8:55 - my number appeared on the screen. I went to a booth, made the finger prints. Tried many times still not success, but finally it's ok. Then he asked us to make an oath - just say "Yes" actually. Then he asked me a few questions that I couldn't answer (sorry I want to hide these questions). Why that's strange, I requested him to double check my application number and names. Then he said "I'm really sorry, I was messing up your application" - the reason was that the application he checks on his PC was another one - lol - how that can be? Then he told us to go back to the chairs and wait for a few minutes. Actual interview begins: 9:10 - we were called again. Did finger prints again and it worked at the first time. I was asked to make an oath - just say "Yes" actually. Q1: could you tell me about your background? Q2: What is your highest qualification? Q3: How long have you been in the UK? Q4: What did you do when you were in *** (my previous country)? how many years you were there? FInal statement: "I would like to let you know that your application is approved, now I will return your original documents and you will receive your passport within 1-2 weeks". I asked if is there anything else? He said, That's all, you can leave the embassy now. I just check the CEAC website, and the status has changed to "Issued". Thank you everyone for your answers so far. Finger cross xx
  8. @Hamd157 Yes you should create an account (at link below) and add your case members (include principle applicant + dependent) to confirm your interview attendance. Then, you can choose which way to receive your returned documents and passports (an extra fee of £21 per person if you want to receive by post). Sign in or Create an Account | Official U.S. Department of State Visa Appointment Service | United Kingdom | English
  9. @EB1Aspirant When I received the IL from NVC, it stated that my case was moved to London embassy, if I want to make any changes, I have to contact the embassy, which indicated that NVC has no longer worked with my case since then. Now your case is with London embassy, so, if the embassy haven't arranged an interview date for you, I think you need to book it by yourself. The best way is to contact the embassy directly for further support. But before that, make sure you arrange a Visa Medicals health check. Hope you can sort it quickly. Good luck.
  10. It says "on the day of medical exam at Visa Medicals", so we should visit the embassy on that day. But the time scale is limited between 12 - 13PM, perhaps if we miss it, we can arrange for another day. I was booking for medical exam early morning, so hopefully I can finish it early. I have attached the notice letter here. ATTENTION IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICANT.pdf
  11. I just booked medical exam at Visa Medicals, a new notice is that from 14th Feb 2025, each applicant is required to visit US Embassy after their medical exam. This is separate from Interview appointment. This early appointment is for immigration staff to verify your civil documents, take biometrics and ensure your case is documentarily complete earlier. This properly to reduce the time you spend for verifying documents on the date of interview OR we could spend more time for the interview (could be asked more questions? - hopefully it's not) The document review is only between 12:00 - 13:00. So, ensure all original documents are with you after the medical exam to visit the embassy.
  12. FYI, Covid booster is required for anyone from 12+ (if not had within 12 months), just chat with Visa Medicals. Cheers
  13. @KVVO @Hamd157 Finally, I just got my IL for March. I'm DQ'd on 20th Nov. @EB1Aspirant You're nearly there. Cheers
  14. Thanks both, I can see it's waived for AOS only. I'll discuss it when booking at Visa Healths. Cheers
  15. Thanks for sharing. Is Covid booster still required now? My last booster was in 12/2023 and my kids have never had it.
  16. @Makenko thanks for your info. I'm DQ'd on 20th Nov, but still waiting for an IL. Best wishes
  17. @appleblossom How do we know where our document is? I've checked at CEAC, it's still saying "at NVC", not at the Embassy/Consulate. Thanks
  18. Thanks for the update. I'm still waiting for the IL, perhaps London embassy still has backlogs.
  19. @EB1Aspirant thanks. When is your PD? For Indian citizens, your PD should be before 1st Feb 2022 to get an interview invitation, aren't you? Thanks a lot. Cheers
  20. @appleblossom How do we receive the Invitation letter from US embassy at London? is it via post or email? Did you get any confirmation of IL from NVC? Thanks @EB1Aspirant You got your DQed?
  21. @KVVO have you got an interview letter yet? Maybe a bit delay due to up coming holidays. I'm still waiting (DQ on 20/11 just before yours)
  22. @KVVO @appleblossom FYI - My CD received at NVC on 31st Oct, and just got DQ this morning 20th Nov. Good luck!
  23. Hi all, my Civil Documents was delivered to NVC yesterday, is there any email to confirm receipt? Thanks
  24. Wow, that's great. Thanks @HillB and @appleblossom
  25. Congratulations. That is quick. How long did it take from NVC's document qualified to your interview date?
