Finally the Status for my case has been updated to "Issued"! Interview: Jan 10, 2024 DS 5535: May 24, 2024 Multiple Unsolicited Updates: Aug/Sep 2024 Passport, Second Medical, Photos Requested: Oct 10 2024 Medical Done: Oct 15, 2024 Passport Sent: Oct 17, 2024 Passport Delivered: Oct 18, 2024 Medical Delivered: Oct 25, 2024 Additional Case Updates: Oct 22, Oct 25, Oct 31 Status Updated to Issued: Nov 5, 2024 Awaiting Courier Tracking number now. I hope you all get your own good news soon!

I got case update today but it's still "Refused" Medical submitted on Oct 25th like the other poster who got visa Issued today.

I received another update today (Oct 31st), but still shows refused. My medical was submitted on Oct 25th (doctor mistakenly told me Oct 23rd earlier) and Passport/photos received by consulate on Oct 18th. Was hoping for Visa to be issued this week but still in the waiting mode.

That's normal. They leave it like that in case they need to ask for more documents.

Any update on your case? Wondering how long it's taking them lately to issue the Visa after receiving medical/passport.

The consulate opened my file for doctor's office to upload medical results on their portal on Oct 22nd and My medical results have just been delivered this afternoon - Oct 23, 2024. Now the wait to see "Issued" from "Refused" begins!

Yes, I completed my second medical on Oct 15th but Doctor Ian Zatzman's office asked the consulate to reopen the case on Oct 11th (the day I booked my medical appointment). Still waiting.

Did the consulate re-activate your case for doctor's office to upload the medical? I am in the same boat and been waiting for a week now for them to reopen portal for medical submission.
