I will be moving to America from Montreal through the land border on monday. what should be expected? (my cars compliant and everything)

I'm a derivative applicant on my mothers immigrant visa. Today I received the canada post tracking info and my mother didnt. Also one of the reference numbers was my passport number. My mother got an email from Montreal embassy with the tracking number in it though Is there any reason this would happen?

is it the main applicant who has to show proof of address and ID?? or all applicants? I'm a derivative applicant.

Just wondering how long it will take to get the email instructions and aprox when it will be available for pick up at the canada post in montreal. if anyone knows

so it would never say issued if it in fact, was not issued?

I have a silly question lol, I was just wondering if anyones CEAC checker indicated "issued" but then didn't receive the visa in their passport. This hasn't happened to me but I'm curious as to if it can happen. If you're refused does it just stay as refused, and they mail you your passport back? Does it changed to denied?
